Our acquiring bank is the Halifax Bank of Scotland. We process payments through the Protx payment gateway, which offers excellent levels of security. Your credit card details are never revealed (not even to us - we don't need to know).

We have also added paypal as a payment option. This is, again, an extremely secure method of conducting transactions online, and is a popular choice with many of our customers.

data security and encryption

The security of your information, transactions, and money is the core of both Paypal and Protx's business and their top priority.

Their systems automatically encrypt your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).

Once your information reaches them, it resides on servers that are heavily guarded both physically and electronically. The servers sit behind electronic firewalls and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorised computers.

If, despite the above, you still are not comfortable with the idea of shopping online, here's what to do. Add items you'd like to the shopping cart in the normal way, by clicking on the "Add To Basket" link next to the products. When everything you want is in the cart, just print the cart page out - it will have already added up the cost of your order, including postage and packing, if this applies.
