A solid, through coloured black pillar candle. The wax is black all the way through, not a coating. A smooth-finish, poured candle offering exceptional burn time for a very reasonable price.

180mm tall by 68mm diameter. That's 7 inches (just over, actually) high by 2 and three-quarter inches across, for those of us who find imperial measurements easier to visualise. That would be me, then.

These are a good, solid colour all the way through, not just cheap white ones overdipped with a coloured layer. They have a nice hand-made, rustic appearance.

These are drawn candles; they offer improved burn quality, when compared to non-drawn candles (ones made in a mould), as the air trapped in the wax during the manufacturing process feeds the flame, so you get a good clean burn with no dripping.

weeping rose tapers

Not black the whole way through, unlike all the other candles on this page, so maybe I'm stretching a point. They're black on the outside and red on the inside, so the red melts and runs down in an attractively Gothic way. Oh, yes.
