The Celts celebrated, as modern pagans do, eight major festivals throughout the year, beginning at Samhain. This festival, also called Summer's End, was the turn of the year.

In honour and celebration of the natural world and as a commitment to living in tune with the rhythm of the seasons, we are proud to offer this range of specially manufactured nickel-free pewter jewellery.

All Hallow's Eve is celebrated the world over as the Day of the Dead, when old year dies and the new begins. We have commissioned a range of symbolic jewellery in honour of this celebration of renewal and transformation.

besom pentacle The besom, or broomstick, symbolises new beginnings, as it sweeps away the old year to make way for the new. The pentacle itself is a symbol of the five elements that comprise the oneness of life. 32mm across x 41mm high (including bail) £3.50

three ravens The ravens are symbolic of the Morrigan, the Celtic goddess of death and renewal, whilst the triplicity represents the triple face of the Goddess herself in her aspects of virgin, mother and crone. 32mm across x 40mm high (including bail) £3.50 These are out of stock at the moment. winged skeleton As in the Tarot card, the representation of Death serves to remind us of the organic nature of change and the impermanence of material considerations, while the spirit flies onward. 65mm across x 57mm high (including bail) £4.00

Yule - Winter Solstice

Yule celebrates the birth of the God, in the darkest time of the year, when the day is shortest and the nights long. The symbols we have chosen here represent the spirit of hope and celebration.
