Burma Teak is a type of metamorphic marble-like limestone, and gets its name from the resemblance of the stone to Burma Teak wood. It is a beautifuly marked stone with veins and many warm tones of browns, tans, beiges and taupes. The stone has a wonderful tactile satiny feel.

The mortar (the bowl part) is 75mm (7.5cm or 3 inches) high and 75mm (7.5cm or 3 inches) in diameter.

The pestle is 95mm (9.5cm or 4 and 3/4 inches) long.

A very nice holder for cone incense with a cut-out pentacle design. It's made of highly polished silver metal.

The incense goes inside the pan at the top, and is covered by the perforated lid, which is separate. If you remove the lid, this can also be used as a candle holder.

You can use an incense cone, or you can use a charcoal disc and resin incense.

The holder (the pentacle part) is 11cm (4 and 1/4 inches) high. The whole assembly, when the top is added, is 18cm (7 inches) high.
