A very pretty little box, made from resin and decorated all over with glass beads and jewels. The sunburst pattern in repeated on the lid and all four sides.
The internal measurements of the box are 60mm (6cm or 2 and 1/4 inches) square.
The external measurements are 70mm (7cm or 2 and 3/4 inches) square.
The sunburst is a universal symbol for life, light and energy, and is found on artifacts from military decorations to church architecture to decorative homewares.
