Maiden Mother Crone Terracotta Wall Ornament

£65.00

This wall ornament is just stunning. A shield-shaped plaque features maiden, mother and crone goddess figures, surrounded by apt imagery, all rendered in amazing detail.

The songbirds of spring flutter towards the hand of the maiden figure, whilst on the other side owls and ravens descend towards the crone. At the maiden's feet leaps the hare of Eostre, whilst at the crone's feet rises the serpent of wisdom. The shield shape is surmounted by the waxing, full and waning moons.

The plaque is cast in resin with a matt terracotta finish. The back is covered in a velvet fabric to protect your walls. There is a hook for hanging on the back of the plaque.

A fabulous and very substantial item; the plaque is 350mm (35cm or 14inches) high, and 260mm 26cm or 10 and 1/2 inches) across.
