In the traditional imagery of Justice we see a cloaked woman sitting between two pillars - this resembles the imagery of The High Priestess - but this is not about our inner selves this time. Justice relates to the external world in every sense of the word. She holds a sword upright in one hand and scales in the other. Scales traditionally relate to a balancing of any situation, whereas the sword has a plethora of symbolic meanings - intellect, paying a price, meting out punishment in the name of justice - ultimately that in order to be fair we often have to pay a price to some degree.

Having experienced the ups and downs of The Wheel of Fortune, The Fool is now finding out that his actions will have repercussions. Whenever we seek Justice we are looking for a fair outcome, and a balance to inequity and unsteadiness. Jumping off The Wheel is not possible, so to keep it on an upward motion we need to find a balance in life, and ensure that whatever actions we take are not intended to harm others or ourselves, otherwise we will find we are experiencing the sword of justice ourselves!

Whenever you see Justice in a reading it will often relate to a legal situation you are experiencing where the outcome will be fair, and most likely positive. It can also tell you to take a long hard look at life and find the balance that you need right now. You've let some part of your life take over and equilibrium needs to be restored. Balance is key in all things, and you will find that many problems will work themselves out once you even things out in your life. Lastly remember any actions you have taken, and be ready to experience the results of those actions -
hopefully positive ones!
