Moongazing Hares Greetings Card by Lisa Parker

£2.00

This card is no longer in production, but I have plenty of lovely cards with hares on, which you can see here.

Beautiful image of hares gazing at the moon, bordered with celtic knotwork.

The image reflects ancient beliefs.  Pagans believed that seeing a moon gazing hare would herald growth, re-birth, abundance, new beginnings and good fortune.  The hare is sacred to the goddess Eostre and still features in modern popular culture as the Easter bunny. See, you're not just shopping, you're learning something.

This card has a white envelope, comes cellophane wrapped and is 130mm (5 inches) square.

It's blank inside for you to write your own message.
