Silver Buddha Incense Holder

A beautiful silver coloured buddha figure sits on a plate that will hold four sticks of incense, or a cone.
The incense fits into (or onto) the raised platform in front of the figure.
The holder is made from cast resin and plated with silver. It measures 9cm (3 and 3/4 inches) in diameter and 9cm (3 and 3/4 inches) tall.

The word ‘Buddha’ is a title, which means ‘one who is awake’ — in the sense of having ‘woken up to reality’. The Buddha was born as Siddhartha Gautama in Nepal around 2,500 years ago. He did not claim to be a god or a prophet. He was a human being who became Enlightened, understanding life in the deepest way possible.
