This box is made from a quality Indian hardwood and the top is decorated with carved motifs in the corners and the word "tarot" in the middle of the lid. The sides of the box are plainly polished.
This box will only fit a smaller deck, so do measure yours carefully as there is not a lot of leeway with this box.
These boxes measure 150mm x 105mm (external dimensions) and 123mm x 76mm (internal dimensions). That's 6" x 4" (external) and 5" x 3" (internal).
If you look on the image carousel, you'll see a straight-on view of the carving on the top of the box, and a view of the inside.
It's a good idea to protect your Tarot cards from both physical damage and negative energy. There are a few ways to do this, and the manner which you choose to use is entirely up to you. You can do any of the following, or even a combination of methods:
- Wrap the cards in silk scarf
- Keep your cards in a box
- Put the cards in a cloth bag with a drawstring closure or a wrapover closure.
